Module Description

The module will introduce a novel approach to risk stratification, explaining how incorporating HS troponin into CV health assessments can enhance the detection of individuals at risk for current or future heart disease. It will also define the traumatic brain injury (TBI), determining its signs and symptoms, blood tests, and its interpretation.

Learning Objectives

  • Demonstrate the clinical use of HS troponin as a good biomarker.

  • Explain the value of incorporating HS troponin into cardiovascular (CV) health assessments.

  • Explain the epidemiology of traumatic brain injury (TBI).

  • Highlight TBI test: Glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) + ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase-L1 (UCH-L1) interpretation.
