eLearning Attendance & CME Policy
1. Purpose
This policy defines how attendance is verified and CME/CPD credits are calculated and awarded for e-learning activities, in alignment with the standards of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
2. Scope
This policy applies to all learners who participate in accredited e-learning activities delivered by al-Niqat al-Mu'tamadah for Health Training, whether in the form of enduring materials, recorded sessions, or blended learning modules.
3. Attendance and Participation Verification
Learners must complete the full educational activity as defined in the program description (video modules, readings, interactive exercises).

Attendance is tracked electronically through the Learning Management System (LMS).

Learners are required to complete any mandatory post-activity assessments, evaluations, or feedback forms before credit can be awarded.
4. Credit Calculation

Credit is awarded based on accredited educational time, excluding breaks, introductions, or non-educational content.

Double Claiming Prohibited

Learners may not receive credit more than once for the same educational content.

Example: If a learner attends using one user account and then attempts to attend again using another account linked to the same Professional ID number, only one credit issuance will be valid.

5. Validity Conditions for CME/CPD Credit
Accreditation Period Validity

Credits can only be awarded if the learner completes the training activity within its official SCFHS accreditation validity period(start date to end date as approved).

Activities accessed or completed outside the accreditation period are not eligible for CME/CPD credit.

Specialty Relevance Validity

Credits will only be awarded if the training activity is relevant to the learner’s professional specialty as defined by SCFHS.

Identity Verification

The learner’s full legal name and Professional ID number must be entered correctly and verified.

Incorrect, incomplete, or invalid learner information will result in no CME/CPD credits being awarded.

Learners are responsible for ensuring that their details match the official records held by SCFHS.

6. Steps to Earn CME Credits
To successfully earn CME credits for an e-learning course, learners must complete the following steps:

Review the Course Information

Read the target audience and educational content description on the course title page to ensure the activity is appropriate for your specialty.

Register with Correct Information

Sign up using your full legal name, SCFHS registration number (for KSA registered HCPs only), and specialty.

Your specialty must match the course target audience in order to receive CME credit.

Complete the CME Activity
-
Study the educational content online in full.
-
Complete at least 90% of the educational content as tracked by the system.

Pass the post-test with the minimum score specified on the test page.

Submit the course evaluation form to provide feedback on the activity.

Receive Your CME Credit
-For KSA registered HCPs only-
Upon successful completion, your CME credit will be registered in the SCFHS Mustamir system.

You can check your credit on your Mumaris Plus account within 15 working days.
-
If your credit does not appear after 15 working days, you must contact al-Niqat al-Mu'tamadah for Health Training for assistance.
-For Gulf, Levant, and North East Africa registered HCPs A certificate can be claimed after completing each module.

7. Compliance
Failure to:

Complete all required course components,
-
Attend within the accreditation period,
-
Provide valid learner identification, or
-
Ensure specialty relevance,
will result in no CME/CPD credit being awarded. This ensures compliance with SCFHS accreditation criteria.
